*Normalization Methodology: Historically, both Wisconsin Electric Power Company (WEPCo) and Wisconsin Public Service Corporation (WPSC) have normalized sales on a system-wide basis, rather than a jurisdictional basis. The weather variables used to calculate WEPCo’s normalization adjustments were based on weather as measured at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, WI while the weather variables used to calculate WPSC’s normalization adjustments were based on weather as measured at Austin Straubel Airport in Green Bay, WI. (Since a vast majority of WEPCo’s weather-sensitive load was based within its Wisconsin jurisdiction, and the weather variables used to calculate the normalization adjustments were based on weather as measured at Milwaukee’s Airport, all of the weather normalization adjustments were applied to sales in the Wisconsin jurisdiction. Effectively, WEPCo’s actual and weather-normalized sales in its Michigan jurisdiction are identical.)
